B.O.L.D. is an acronym which stands for:
B = Believe
O = Obey
L = Love
D = Declare
As Christians, we need to Believe in Christ as well as His word, Obey Christ, Love the Lord wth all your soul, and Declare these to others.
Back in late 1999, Harry Walker, Jr., wanted to do some preaching and Vesper programs at the West Covina Hills SDA Church. He did an occasional sermon here and there, several times at the L.A. Chinese SDA Church in Alhambra, Calif.
So, during the year 2000, he made the decision to go forward and created B.O.L.D. Ministries. He said he noticed that the world was getting more bold. An this is Harry's way of being bold for Jesus. B.O.L.D is an acronym which is listed below, but I'll go through it again.
B = Beleive
O = Obey
L = Love
D = Declare
As Christians, we need to believe in Jesus Christ, and His word, Obey his word. Love the Lord with all your heart and soul. And when we can do all these, we can then start to declare this to the world!
Here it is, the year 2002, and B.O.L.D. Ministries is doing well. Harry officially started the whole thing in October of 2000 with a Youth Jam, and since then, we have had a total of 13 programs and sermons, which I have videotaped.
Most of the programs have been at West Covina Hills, but we have also been to the L.A. Chinese Church, Hawthorne SDA, Juniper SDA in Fontana, Azusa Dutch/Indonesian and we are going to continue to go where Christ leads us.
